Jio 4g Plans after 3 months

New Jio users will get validity of ‘Welcome Offer’ as per the date his/her Jio Sim is activated but all existing plans will auto-migrated to ‘Jio Standard Tariff plans’ after Dec 2016.
Jio Welcome Offer comes with 3 months of validity. Afterwards, Jio subscribers need to pay monthly charge starting at Rs 149 to continue similar benefits after Dec 2016.

Jio to offer 1 year free access to ‘Welcome Offer’ for all LYF mobile users. (Confirmation pending).

Jio 1GB for Rs 50 !
This plan is little tricky – You won’t get 1GB Jio 4G data at Rs 50 unless you opt in any one of Jio monthly subscription plans for prepaid or postpaid.
Every Jio subscribers under Jio tariff plans for prepaid pr postpaid would get option to get access to Jio 4g data at a rate of 5p/mb or Rs 50/GB post offer-data usage.
Subscribers who don’t want to pay for standard data charge may also apply for Jio add-on packs to get both Cellular & JioNet data from 1GB to 75GB as per choices user is subscribed to.

Jio 4G Tariff Plans starting from 1st January 2017

Jio completely removed any charges for Voice calls over LTE which means subscribers don’t need to pay extra for Voice services once users apply for Jio monthly 4g plans starting at Rs 149.
Jio Standard Tariff plans will come effective from 5th January 2017 but ‘Base Tariff plans’ will become active on Jio number from 1st January, 2017 or the date of end of ‘Jio Welcome offer’ on particular Jio 4g number.
Jio 4g plans have some limitation in data usage, free SMS and International roaming offer. Subscribers can eliminate any limitation in usage by activating Jio data add-on packs, SMS combo packs and International roaming Combo packs.

Jio Base Plans

Jio subscribers without any monthly subscription plan will be charged at ‘Jio Base Plan’ after 1st January 2017. Base plan comes with 180 days of validity, afterwards Jio subscriber need to pay Rs 191 to maintain same offerings from Base plan.
Jio Base Tariff for Home circle

• Voice call (Local/STD, On-net/Off-net): 2p/sec
• Video call (Local/STD, On-net/Off-net): 5p/sec
• SMS (Local/STD) : Re 1/SMS
• SMS (International) : Rs 5/SMS
• Data : 0.5p/10KB

Jio Base Tariff for Roaming circle

• Local outgoing : 80p/min
• STD outgoing : Rs 1.15/min
• Incoming: 45p/min
• SMS (Local/STD/ISD): 25p/38p/Rs5
• Data : 0.5p/10KB

Base tariff will be auto-activated in all Jio 4g numbers after Dec 31st, 2016. To get reduced tariff, Jio users can activate any of the Jio monthly 4g plans.

Things You should know before applying for Jio 4g Plans

You need to keep in mind few important things to save money while using Jio 4g service.

•  Jio users without any ‘Jio Tariff plans’ will be charged at per rates specified in ‘Jio Base Plan’
•  Free Voice calls – This facility is available for users subscribed to ‘Jio Tariff Plans’, not valid for ‘Jio Base Plan’
• #3 Jio WiFi data – Jio users can consume 4g data only under JioNet WiFi coverage areas or under Public Wi-Fi hotspots of RJIL.
• Unlimited Night 4g: Subscribers can only access unlimited night 4g from 2am to 5am, beyond that data charge will be applied.
• ‘Jio Base Plan’ & Top-up vouchers will come effective from 1st January, 2017 but Jio 4g Plans, Combo packs, add-on pack and other benefits will come effective from 5th January 2017.
•  Denominations Rs.19, Rs.129 and Rs.299 cannot be availed as FRC.
• Jio subscriber must have LTE enabled or VoLTE phone to avail 4g tariff plans.
• Prepaid plans are inclusive of taxes but Postpaid plans will get additional charge for taxes.
• 25% discount only available to Students
• For app usage or Video calls offer data will be consumed, post expiry of offer data 5p/mb data charge will be applied.
